It's sad to see that even someone daring enough to advocate replacing a woman with a man on SCOTUS refers to the sexes as "genders." I can remember the days (and I'm not that old) when using a grammatical term to differentiate male from female was a bit of silly humor - but I suppose that's another linguistic battle firmly and irrevocably lost.
