Barbra Streisand Calls for Bush Impreachment. Seriously.

Barbra Streisand has a blog. And it is a hoot.

If there was ever a time in history to impeach a President of the United States, it would be now. In my opinion, it is two years too late. We should have done this before the election . . .

The thing of it is, Barbra, if you want to get rid of a President, that's what an election is for.

For an answer to Streisand's complaint about WMD in Iraq, be sure to read a post from the Anchoress, where she asks: "Did Bill Clinton lie about WMD?" And then she quotes the man himself:

If Saddam rejects peace and we have to use force, our purpose is clear. We want to seriously diminish the threat posed by Iraq's weapons of mass destruction program. President Bill Clinton, Feb. 17, 1998

So Saddam's WMD program was a problem in 1998. . . but not once President Bush decided to take action?

Here's the question for the Left: you want to impeach Bush because we (arguably) "didn't find WMD in Iraq." Aren't you the tiniest bit curious where the WMD is that Bill Clinton was worried about?

And before you argue with me about that "arguably" above, see the Anchoress' update on what we have found in Iraq.

UPDATE: I see that I am crediting Streisand with a wish for "impreachment". . . . the more I think about it, I've just got to leave the typo be -- that is just too, too funny. (Thanks Dan!!)
