From NPR:

When Americans want to be a part of the national conversation, they turn to Talk of the Nation, NPR's midday news-talk show. Journalist Neal Conan leads a productive exchange of ideas and opinions on the issues that dominate the news landscape. From politics and public service to education, religion, music and healthcare, Talk of the Nation offers call-in listeners the opportunity to join enlightening discussions with decision-makers, authors, academicians, and artists from around the world.

Neal Conan has had a long involvement with NPR as reporter and editor for NPR News, anchor for NPR live events coverage, and host of NPR's Weekly Edition: The Best of NPR News. Conan played a major role in anchoring continuous live coverage of developments during the terrorist attacks and aftermath of Sept. 11, 2001, and the 2003 war in Iraq. His broadcasts are marked by their clarity, accuracy and eloquence.

Jack,

OK, I just have to ask.

Was "public" purposely misspelled in context of the topic?

Brenda

Brenda,

I wish I could blame the spell checker...

Public without an "L" is word.

That might only be caught by filters.

But, on second thought the error was, perhaps not too far from the paramount concern for liberals.

Thanks for letting me know.

Best,
Jack

National Pubic Radio? Is that the Howard Stern Show? :)

Elaine,

Howard Stern, no...it just seems that way

My errors don't help!
