Parental Notification:
Do Parents Need To Know About Their Child's Abortion?

October 3, 2008 | By Jack Yoest

Allen Troupe from Iowa (where normal people live) writes,

What's wrong with this picture? A child under 18 has to have parental permission to get her ears pierced or get a tattoo. A school nurse cannot even give out an aspirin (or other pain killer) without parental OK.

Yet, pro-abortionists claim that parents shouldn't be involved in the decision of their daughter to get an abortion, a medical procedure that is way more serious than any of the other things listed. & unfortunately, in many states a girl can get an abortion without parental OK.

What are the results of this? The most common result is that a girl is raped, gets pregnant & the rapist pays for the abortion. & time & time again, when the abortion was done at a Planned Parenthood clinic, the rape (not to mention incest) was covered up. There is plenty of documentation for that fact.

Watch this enactment of a Planned Parenthood supporter,

Troupe, as commonsense would dictate, endorses Proposition 4 in California. He continues,

In California there is a initiative on the ballot to rectify this problem, Proposition 4, the Child and Teen Safety and Stop Predators Act: Sarah's Law. This law requires a 48 hr waiting period so that a parent can be notified. (There are exceptions for things such as parental abuse.)

The law is called Sarah's Law in memory of 15-year-old "Sarah". In February 1994, she visited abortionist Moshe Hachamovitch's "A to Z Women's Services" clinic in Houston, Texas. An abortion was performed on Sarah, tearing the right side of her cervix.

Sarah suffered blood poisoning, fever, chills, abdominal pain, and nausea for four days before finally being admitted to a hospital.

When hospital personnel discovered the tear and a post-abortion infection, they placed Sarah in the intensive care unit, but the infection was far too advanced and Sarah died on March 2, 1994.

Hospital physicians reported that had Sarah received prompt medical care, she would still be alive today. (From Defending Life 2007, published by Americans United for Life, Chicago)
